..And a Grumpy Groundhog Day to You

Just three short years ago this day, I was traipsing around in honest to goodness shorts.

And now in the midst of snow flurries, the giant clairvoyant rat is predicting another long winter, just like last year.

Happy Groundhog Day, indeed.

It's Groundhog Time

Saturday was Groundhog Day.  And since in this household the holiday is more a celebration of Phil Connors than Punxsutawney Phil, I thought it only fitting to wear an outfit inspired by last year's (I briefly considered wearing the same thing until I realized that last year I was wearing shorts.  I am all for continuity and integrity when it comes to repeating oneself for the sake of a movie, but it was only 25 degrees and I'm not completely insane).

Good morning all.  It's Groundhog Day!  Which in this household means the traditional yearly viewing of Bill Murray in, you guessed it, Groundhog Day.

Even though I've seen the movie probably upwards of 15 times, it still makes me laugh every year.  

To quote Ned Ryerson, "It's a doozy."
