...when you don't need to be reminded to show affection just one day of the year,
because you act like every day is Valentine's Day.

And after almost 8 years together, it's still kind of awesome to hear the words
I love you every single day
(especially when I'm feeling about as pretty as I look in that photo).

This is what I wore on Valentine's Day.  Since we planned on having a low key night at home, I actually hadn't planned on getting out of my pjs at all (I really spoil my boyfriend). But then I remembered that I had a library book due.  So I tossed this dress on, topped it with something red because, you know, Valentine's Day, and off we strolled to return my book.  And just to make the evening really romantic, we picked up some 1040 forms on our way home.  Because nothing says love like getting an early start on your taxes.

six whole years together

 Because you are still just that excited to talk to him.

I can't even express how lucky I feel to have such a wonderful, loving, supportive boyfriend who I am also proud to call my best friend.
