Touchy Feely

I don't know about you, but I'm a big fan of texture.  I'm the one in the museum who occasionally ignores the signs kindly asking us to refrain from touching the artwork.  I'm the kind of person who sticks her hands wrist-deep into containers of bird seed at the pet shop, or who crouches down to touch lamb's ear every time she spots the plant.  The one who appreciates feeling a crumbly brick wall, a particularly soft cat, or a skein of nubby yarn.  The person who needs to feel and touch anything that looks like it'd be interesting to feel or touch.  The girl who spied this top and was overjoyed at the different textures contained within it.  The intricate & slightly scratchy lace contrasted by the soft scoops of crochet.  I can hardly keep my hands off myself.

Laid Back

It's time to come clean.  I've had this post sitting, unpublished, for the better part of the weekend because I've simply been unable to think of anything to write.  I titled it Laid Back, and each time I look at it all I can think is "with my mind on my money and my money on my mind."  It's hard to write about my outfit when I've got Gin & Juice running through my head.  The only other concession my brain will allow me is "Canadian Tuxedo".  So it's either Snoop Dogg or Denim Dan.  I can't fight it anymore; they both win.
